Back to Basics, loosing weight 101
Well Xander is 3 months old now and he is growing and just as wonderful as could be. However it’s time for me to get back the basics of what this blog is really about. . . weight loss.
So my intention when I got pregnant was to gain as little weight as possible and have a healthy baby, however as I learned from my Bradley Class. To have a healthy pregnancy the mother shouldn’t be concerned with how much weight she gains and more concerned with what she is eating. There for I followed the Brewer Diet during my pregnancy and gained a whopping 60lbs!
So now three months later and as of last Wednesday, my new weigh in day, I was 183.6 that makes me down a total of 34.2lbs.
The Plan
Although this plan has never really worked for me before, I am going to be dieting loosely. Counting calories three or four days a week, the days I’m at work and able to enter my food into caloriecount.com and aiming for 2000 calories a day, as well making good food choices all the time. This paired with my nursing full time and running again I am hoping will at least get me back to my pre pregnacy weight. Once there I will refocus and decide whether I need to be more strict.
