So yes I’m pregnant, which would explain a few things. When I took a break I had just found out and I was only like 4 weeks along so in order to figure out what I was going to do I needed to take a break.
Well now I am back and besides having a cold from hell I feel good, the picture above is from yesterdays visit to date the baby, our due date is 12.17.08 and I am 8 weeks along.
Both of us are totally excited about it, if you read some of my archives I wanted to be pregnant and D didn’t think it would happen until we put some serious money into infertility(like he once attempted with the x wife). We are both fully dedicated to having this baby in a natural way and setting no matter how much slack we take for it. And we are in love and we are having a baby. My life is going really good at the moment.
So what is the food plan now, are you concerned that you will loose all and just eat what you want to?
Yes in fact I’m nervous about that, so in an attempt to curb the appetite and make sure I don’t gain to much weight I will be continuing to use Calorie Count Plus to track the food I eat on most days. I am planning focusing my consumption on whole grains with lots of fiber, natural lean proteins, low fat dairy products and 8-10 servings of fruits and vegetables per day using 1800-2000 calories until I’m in my 5th month.
But you need to gain weight, how much weight do you want to gain?
Because I was overweight starting the pregnancy I would like to gain no more than 20lbs. I have broken this down to 3lbs during the first trimester putting me at 160 and 17 pounds throughout the rest of the pregnancy maxing me out at 177 by week 40.
I plan on continuing running/walking throughout the whole pregnancy as well as lifting weights through the whole thing. This should help with weight gain as well as easing the delivery.
