Happy After Thanksgiving
Well here I am I survived the long holiday weekend with all the food and pies and goodies that could possibly be had. This is possibly my favorite time of year to do on a really strict diet so today December 1st I am starting Phase 1 of South Beach all over again. And to make it all better guess who else is joining me, yes D. I told him I bet $10 he could loss 10lbs before Xander’s birthday.
So we both weighed in this morning me at 176 not to bad for coming off a big holiday and him at 229.
The holiday was so good, it is so nice to see everyone and get to just hang out with family. I really like Dave’s family althought I still feel a little timid around his one aunt since the incident where she came over to our house and freaked out on me then him when I was pregnant about us not going to her daughters party and them not being included on certain stuff. She is just a little intimidating, but a really nice woman and I do really look up to her in a way. She is so put together and she voluteers for all kinds of things I would like to follow in her footsteps for some of the those things.
My mom had Thanksgiving on Saturday and a bunch of people attended including my brother and his family (4), my cousin Renee and her family (4), my mom and dad of course (2), my Aunt Beverly and my cousin Christina (2) plus Xander, Dave and me (3) for a total of 15 people I would say that’s a good size crowd. I often miss my family and I think that I have moved past some previous rejections of the past around holidays it still stings a little bit to see how our family has changed.
Overall it was good and I didn’t eat too too much I bet I’m back down below 174 in no time at all.
