Vacation’s over
I just got back from one of the best vacations I have ever had, it was relaxing and reminiscent of my childhood and I got to share one of my favorite places in the world with my husband and baby. Not to mention spend three days alone with my mom and grandma enjoying the conversation and companionship.
I swam and hiked and carried my sweet little baby around on my back everyday, and I was hoping this wouldn’t be like most vacations I have taken in the past where I come back 5lbs or more heavier. I really felt like for the most part I was making good food decisions and I was way more active than I am at home generally. Well it all paid off, when I got home I was 181. Not to bad for being on vacation for a full 8 days.
It felt great to come back from a trip and not be for me what is weeks or a month behind when I left. Also as an update D is also started counting calories so I am aiming to keep track at least 6 days a week and I lowered my calorie target to 1700. Hopefully I’ll start seeing the numbers slide, I just have such a hard time looking at myself in the mirror at this weight.
